Veteran LAPD officer and United States Marine Corps Reservist Sergeant Major Robert J Cottle, 45, was killed by an improvised explosive device while on patrol in Southern Afghanistan on Wednesday, March 24, 2010. RJ joined the Marines at age 18, and the LAPD in 1990. His various LAPD assignments included Hollywood Vice, Southeast Area, LAPD Dive Team and, most recently, SWAT. He is survived by his wife Emily and 9 month old daughter Kaila. The LAPD established a trust fund for them.

David and Jocelyn are thrilled to introduce the newest member of the family, Atlas Rylee.
It was a long journey but he finally arrived at 1:46 on Saturday June 26. He measures 21" and weighs 7 lbs 13 oz. Both Atlas and Jocelyn are doing great and look forward to seeing everyone soon.
We have modified the schedule for the week so please double check the class times and ensure you are signed in. David will be back to work on thursday and Kana and Garrett will be taking on the classes until then.
